Package Itinerary

Would you like to see the whole of Finland in just a couple of hours!!?? Not only is this possible, but you won’t even need to leave the boundaries of Helsinki!!

Just a 15 minute drive from the city centre, you’ll feel like you are in a completely different world. A world where time has seemingly stood still. A world where there is no traffic noise, no city centre hustle and bustle.
After crossing a pedestrian bridge, you will find yourself on an almost magical island, where the past and the present are closely intertwined. More than a hundred years ago Finnish settlers started to build mansions, barns, farms and saunas here.

During your excursion, you will see samples of wooden architecture from all over the country, learn how Finnish families of the 17th and 18th centuries lived, and have the opportunity to appreciate the “Imperial Inn.” As well as visiting one of the oldest wooden churches in Northern Europe, you will see what real Viking boats looked like.

You will take a look at the first buildings where locks were used, and learn why the Finnish baron was “not allowed” to attend church. See how the Yusupov Princes used to live in Helsinki and visit a reindeer farm, which belongs to a member of the Finnish Parliament. See what the old blacksmith shops, mills, shepherd's houses and baby walkers of the 19th century looked like.
And finally, we cannot ignore the residence of the former President of Finland and its famous saunas.
