The Market Square area along with Rotuaari Promenade and the other streets in downtown Oulu form an urban living room. This zone comprises the intersecting streets Kauppurienkatu and Kirkkokatu, the Rotuaari Promenade and its surrounding streets, and the main shopping district with its department stores and boutiques.
