DAY 1:
City tour in Helsinki.
Helsinki is one of Europe’s most modern and culturally rich cities, yet it remains in touch with an intriguing history stretching back over 450 years. Take full advantage of this opportunity to discover beautiful Helsinki with our 2 hour tour by car. You will have the chance to visit Senate Square and the Lutheran cathedral, elegant Uspenski Cathedral, the spectacular Temppeliaukio Rock Church, the Sibelius Monument and many more places of interest.

InterCity trains offer passengers on business and pleasure trips the possibility to utilize effectively the travel time on journeys between cities and major population centres. DAY 2:

A short walk in refreshing winter air to visit the Snow Castle Exhibition (open 22.1.-9.4.2017).
12:15 Bus Transfer to Ajos harbor to meet the mighty vessel Sampo.
Blue Moment Cruise includes a guided tour, 3-course meal and the exciting experience swimming amongst the ice, dressed in survival suits.
The mighty icebreaker Sampo operates on the northern Gulf of Bothnia from Kemi in Finnish Lapland. After serving for 30 years in the extreme Arctic waters, the vessel has been given a new task in recent years – providing an unforgettable experience for eager winter adventurers!
Your trip departs from the deep port of Ajos, approximately 11km south of Kemi. Once on board, you will enjoy a presentation about the ship and a guided tour will take you to the massive engine room and the bridge. A delicious lunch is served onboard in the Sampo Arctic Restaurant before the ship makes a one hour stop to enable you to take a swim in the sea, comfortably dressed in a warm survival suit, of course!!! At the end of this unique cruise experience, the ship’s Captain presents each client with a certificate.

DAY 3:

The zoo is approximately 1 hour south of Rovaniemi by car. Upon arrival, you will take a stroll through the zoo, where you can see the interesting animals and birds that live at the "top of the world!!". You will be able to dine in the cozy restaurant, visit all kinds of souvenir shops including the Fazer candy/chocolate shop and the wine shop, where they sell unique wines made from wild berries found locally, such as cloudberries, lingonberries and bilberries.

DAY 4:

Every day a huge number of letters arrive at Santa’s Main Post Office. In 1994 Santa received 200,000 letters and just four years later, 800,000 letters! Santa’s elves sort all the letters and help Santa to read every single one of them. Then at Christmas or on New Year’s Day, under their Christmas tree, excited children all over the world delight in finding the exact toy or game they have for from asked Santa Claus!!!
Santa Claus Village is the most magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike!! There is something for everyone here. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter you can experience the excitement of a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies, ride a sledge downhill and taste hot glöggi (mulled wine) in the Ice Bar.
Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share with him your dreams and wishes. There are so many things to do! Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get your certificate to prove it!

Rovaniemi is the regional capital of Lapland, and there's quite a bit to see in the town centre and in the beautiful natural surroundings just outside it.
The highlights of the compact centre are easily taken in on a guided walking tour with featuring local history as well as significant sites, buildings and landmarks.

The reindeer will take you for a peaceful trip through the silent beauty of Lapland on your way to search for the Northern Lights. After the trip, hot drinks and snacks are waiting for you at the farm. Around the fire we can relax and hear the stories about Lappish way of life and reindeer husbandry.

Included: Transfer, excursion on the farm, driving by reindeer sleigh (~30 min), snacks, driving license

DAY 5:
Breakfast in the hotel

Get away from the city and enjoy the magical forests of the Lapland wilderness while driving your own dog-team! The sound of the panting huskies and the snow underneath your sled is the perfect soundtrack for this adventure which covers somewhere between 16 - 22km.
Duration:~ 4,5 hours
Included: Transfers to/from Rovaniemi, Safety- and driving instructions, 1 hour 30 minute - 2 hour drive with a husky sled (2 adults and max 2 children per sled), Hot Juice, Cookies.

DAY 6:

11.45 Bus transfer to Saariselkä resort (15.04 arrival to Kakslauttanen)

DAY 7:

We change into safari outfit at the safari club; overall, socks, shoes, mittens, balaclavas and helmets. After a short driving lesson we head our snowmobiles to the treeless fells and snow-covered forests enjoying the beautiful wilderness scenery. On the way we’ll make a short coffee break by open fire in a hideaway cottage listening to the quietness of the wilds of Lapland.
Duration ~2,5 hours.

Free time for ski or other excursions. Dinner in the hotel

DAY 8:

Transfer to the airport.
