Christmas is a unique festival in the whole world. We will be inviting you to experience this magic with Santa Claus the following December!
Rovaniemi is not only Santa’s hometown but also a gateway to Lapland, which has one of the most amazing natural phenomena, the Northern Lights.
Join us this winter to experience everything Finnish Lapland has to offer, including but not limited to meeting the reindeer, watching the aurora in the sky, and of course, meeting Santa himself.
Itinerary:
DAY 1 - 23.12 / ARRIVAL TO THE ARCTIC CIRCLE AND ROVANIEMI
Airport or train station pick-up / Check-in / Traditional grilled salmon dinner / Northern Lights hunting tour / Accommodation in a forest Christmas cottage OR 3 Star hotel double room.
Our guide will pick you up at the airport (or the train station). After a short stop at your accommodation, you will be welcomed with a traditional Lappish dinner, the famous and tasty Finnish Grilled Salmon! In the evening, we will provide you with a fabulous Northern Lights Hunting Tour.
*Your accommodation will be either a forest cottage or a double room in a three-star hotel.
DAY 2 - 24.12 / DAY 2 – ACTIVITIES/TOURS DAY AND CHRISTMAS EVE
Visit a Reindeer Farm / Learn how to drive a reindeer sleigh / Receive a reindeer sleigh driver’s license / Lunch: Traditional Reindeer dishes / Traditional Christmas market / Christmas Dinner / Northern Lights and Christmas Party / Special Santa Claus visit with gifts / Back to accommodation.
Departure after 9:30 in the morning –We will provide you with the most wonderful reindeer experience in the morning.
At the Reindeer farm, you will meet the real reindeer herders, who will tell you about their lifestyles and customs! You will have a Reindeer sleigh, which will give you a taste of the traditional way of traveling in Lapland.
We will have traditional Lappish reindeer dishes for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the traditional Rovaniemi Christmas market.
On Christmas Eve, you will have a traditional Christmas Dinner, a Northern Lights hunt, and a Christmas party. Santa Claus will pass by for a visit and deliver some Christmas gifts.

DAY 3 - 25.12 / DAY 3 – CHRISTMAS DAY
Visit Santa Claus in his primary office in Lapland / Visit Santa Claus Village / Private meeting with Santa / Santa’s Post Office / Cross the Arctic Circle and acquire Arctic Circle Certificate / Christmas traditional lunch buffet / Northern Lights Photography Tour / Accommodation in a forest Christmas cottage OR in a 3 Star hotel double room.
Departure after 10:00- We will visit Santa Claus in his main office in Lapland!
We will take you to the Santa Claus Village, located in the Arctic Circle. We will also visit Santa Park where you will have a private meeting with Santa Claus and the popular Santa’s Post office! You will join the Elves in their magic world. Moreover, you can send postcards to all your friends from Santa’s Post Office.
The Arctic Circle cuts right through Santa Claus Village! A white line denoting the Arctic Circle, which is a very popular tourist attraction (at its position in 1865) lies across the park. You will officially enter the Arctic when you cross the line! Most importantly, you will acquire the Arctic Circle Certificate.
You will be able to try the traditional Christmas Finnish buffet for lunch at Santa’s place!
During the night, we will take you to the Northern Lights Photography Tour in which our professional photographers will take photos for you, and you’ll receive all the beautiful pictures of yourself and the northern lights!

DAY 4 - 26.12 / DAY 4 – (BOXING DAY) HUSKY FARM AND SLEIGH FOREST TOUR, SNOWMOBILE TOUR, AND 1 NIGHT IN ARCTIC SNOW IGLOO HOTEL
Premier activities of the Arctic Circle / Husky Sleigh Forest Tour / Snow campfire lunch / Snowmobile Tour / Check-in Ice igloo double room.
Departure after 10:00 –You will experience the most exciting activities in the Arctic Circle today.
Our first stop of the day will be the Husky farm! Let’s experience the enthusiasm of running dogs and the exoticism of Lapland. You will meet the genuine Siberian Huskies, enjoy the environment, and get thrilled with the speed of the sled in the forest!
After the unforgettable experience with the Huskies, we will stop for a lunch break in the great outdoors while preparing you a delicious Lappish lunch by the snow campfire!
Nothing’s better than a Snowmobile tour after a good (satisfying) lunch! You would love to experience the thrill of driving a snowmobile through the forests of Lapland. You will be staying at an Ice Igloo at the night.
DAY5 - 27.12 / DAY 5 – DEPARTURE DAY
Arctic Forest Snowshoeing Experience / Free Time (Walk around the city) / Transportation to Airport or Train Station.
Departure after 9:00 – We will have an Arctic Secret Forest Snowshoeing Experience before you say goodbye!
It will be your last day in the winter wonderland and we want you to relax! In the morning, you will be walking in the magical Arctic Secret Forest. Here you can cross the Arctic Circle and experience the nature of Lapland outside of Rovaniemi.
You will have some free time to explore the area and buy some souvenirs from the shops afterward. Please let us know when you want to go to the airport or the train station so that we can coordinate with you.
