DAY 1: WELCOME TO LAPLAND

10.00 EXCURSION TO SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE

Every day a huge number of letters arrive at Santa’s Main Post Office. In 1994 Santa received 200,000 letters and just four years later, 800,000 letters! Santa’s elves sort all the letters and help Santa to read every single one of them. Then at Christmas or on New Year’s Day, under their Christmas tree, excited children all over the world delight in finding the exact toy or game they have for from asked Santa Claus!!!

Santa Claus Village is the most magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike!! There is something for everyone here. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter you can experience the excitement of a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies, ride a sledge downhill and taste hot glöggi (mulled wine) in the Ice Bar.

Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share with him your dreams and wishes. There are so many things to do! Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get your certificate to prove it!

18.30 NORTHERN LIGHTS SAFARI BY REINDEER SLEIGH

The reindeer will take you for a peaceful trip through the silent beauty of Lapland on your way to search for the Northern Lights. After the trip, hot drinks and snacks are waiting for you at the farm. Around the fire, we can relax and hear the stories about the Lappish way of life and reindeer husbandry.

Duration:~ 3 hours
Included: Transfer, excursion on the farm, driving by reindeer sleigh (~30 min), snacks, driving license

Overnight in the hotel or glass igloo.

DAY 2: LAPLAND WILDERNESS TOUR

08.30 CALL OF THE WILD HUSKY

Get away from the city and enjoy the magical forests of the Lapland wilderness while driving your own dog team! The sound of the panting huskies and the snow underneath your sled is the perfect soundtrack for this adventure which covers somewhere between 16 - 22km.

Duration:~ 4,5 hours
Included: Transfers to/from Rovaniemi, Safety- and driving instructions, 1 hour 30 minute - 2-hour drive with a husky sled (2 adults and max 2 children per sled), hot juice, cookies.

DAY 3: DEPARTURE

18.00 SEARCHING FOR THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BY SNOWMOBILES

An opportunity to drive a snowmobile through a snowy forest and along the river in the shadows of the evening. During the safari, you can admire the starry night, and the moon and if you are lucky you will see the Aurora Borealis. The guide will light up a bonfire and we will enjoy a picnic while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear.

Everyone can grill traditional Finnish sausages on the fire and we serve Lappish berry juice to keep yourself warm. For taking proper photos in darkness, you can bring along the tripod for your camera.

DAY 4: DEPARTURE

Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport of Ivalo.
