FINNISH CASTLES – ONE DAY IN HÄMEENLINNA
Hämeenlinna, one of the oldest towns in Finland, is home to a medieval castle and boasts a rich military and cultural history. During the tour you will visit the Town Hall Square, the Main Cathedral [built on the model of the Pantheon temple], see the wooden houses and the home of Jean Sibelius - the greatest Finnish composer. Visit a medieval castle and the "Finnish Taj Mahal" where you will hear incredible stories of love, knights and ghosts. We will visit the Olympic Village and have a look at a real prison. The Artillery Museum of Finland will open its doors for military history enthusiasts, and visitors can also learn a lot about the life of Russian emperors and the ‘Finnish Casanova’ as well as hear Finnish myths and legends.
