Traditional Wood Fired And Smoked Sauna Tour

It's the one Finnish innovation that the whole world has heard of. And now it's your chance to experience this uniquely Finnish activity! Enjoy spending time with your family and friends, as the heat of the sauna eases tired muscles and cleanses your skin. If you want to cool down, you can go outside and have a roll in the snow, make some snow angels, or even take a dip in the icy lake in true Finnish style! After cooling down for a while, go back into the sauna again and maybe stay a bit longer! When you have finished, you can just sit down outside and admire the beautiful Lapland scenery. The wood fired sauna accommodates up to 6 people. A smoke-sauna - is the original sauna and believed by most Finns to be the best. The door is closed after the wood has burned down (and most of the smoke has escaped), leaving the embers to heat the sauna to the proper temperature, but giving a soft heat and the aroma of wood smoke. There is electricity, but no running water in the venue, so we heat the sauna with wood and carry the washing water from the lake. The accommodates up to 6 people.
