The Frozen Waterfalls of Korouoma in Posio’s virgin forest area, located in the South-East of Rovaniemi. The place is magical and looks like a fairyland. The snow has started to accumulate in mid-November, producing snow trails thicker than 1-meter. Hike in the stunning beauty of the Finnish landscape with a spectacular view of dripping icicles, including frozen waterfalls, canyons, and forests. After mid-November, snow starts to cover the trails, getting thicker and thicker for more than 1 meter. Snow falls on the trees of the forest making the forest more attractive.
