During the 5 days of crazy adventure in the Lapland region, we explore the best of the winter wonderland. If you fancy a trip to the winter wonderland then a trip to Korouoma Canyon is just perfect for you. It is here that you get rewarded with magical views of the frozen waterfalls and perfect winter charm all around. We also have a wilderness barbecue session and a tent stay there. We continue with Saariselkä to enjoy Northern Lights on the top hill. The following day we head to Inari where we spend time at a Sami Village, explore a Sami Museum, and stay in a wonderful wilderness cabin. The experiences of this trip are truly unique and will account for some of the best times spent in the Lapland region!
Day 1 - Airport pickup, transfer to NUT office
Our guide will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the NUT safari office in the Rovaniemi city where you will get dressed in special adventure gear and receive the latest info about the holiday package. The accommodation will be organised in a wilderness cabin or other hotels on request.
Day 2 - Korouoma Canyon, Frozen Waterfalls tour, Wilderness Barbecue, tent stay
Korouoma Canyon with the frozen waterfalls looks magical; someplace straight out of a picture-postcard. Our professional guides will escort you to the forest. In the middle of our hike, our guide will make a bonfire, and you will enjoy the traditional cuisine of the Arctic Circle! For the overnight stay, you can select a wilderness cabin or hotel on request.
Day 3 - Northern Lights in Saariselkä, Wilderness cabin
Today, we go Northern Lights hunting in Saariselkä. The resort village in the far north of Finland is an amazing place to be and has some perfect Northern Lights views. It is important to travel far away from the city lights to watch the Northern Lights at their best. We also serve some warm drinks and snacks to warm you up as you behold the magical spectacle right in front of your eyes. Overnight stay in a wooden cabin or a hotel of your choice.
Day 4 - Inari, Sami Village, Sami Museum, Wilderness cabin
Today, we head to Inari where we spend plenty of time at the Sami Village and Sami Museum and get to know more about Sami culture and their way of life. The Sami museum is full of such attractions it will let you explore the best of cultural heritage that this place has been keeping for centuries. This is certainly going to be an interesting day of learning and exploration at Inari and you will like it for sure.
Day 5 - Airport transfer, tour ends
