If you have always wondered how's it like to experience the most authentic Lapland experience, then this tour is for you. Join us this Winter to experience the best Finnish Lapland has to offer. Stay in an Arctic Glass Hotel, visit the Santa Claus Village and cross the Arctic Circle Line, hunt the Northern Lights, and enjoy the super exciting husky ride!
During the 5-day tour, we offer you some authentic Lappish experiences as you will be out exploring the best that nature has to offer. It starts with a dreamy stay in an Arctic Glass Hotel from where you can even enjoy the clear views of the Northern Lights.
The next day you go out exploring the best of Santa Claus Village. A remarkable place it is, the village is known for a lot of things like the Santa Claus office where you can meet Santa in person, the Arctic Circle Line which passes right across the village, and the world-famous Arctic Circle Post Office from where you can write a letter to your friends and relatives. Also, you can relish authentic Lappish cuisine and much more!
The next day, you will be headed to hunt the Northern Lights in the absolute wilderness. Our experts will take you to the popular hotspots from where you can watch Auroras in its full glory. Experience the unique Northern Lights and feel the natural forces of the North, harness them as your resource. Lapland’s magic will captivate you and make you admirer for life.
On the next day, you will be up for one of the most authentic experiences in the Lappish wilderness - the husky safari. The 10-km ride on the Husky sledge is one of the most thrilling adventures you can take in Rovaniemi. Enjoy the ride and spend some wonderful times with the amazing Siberian Huskies, they all are so friendly and adorable. On the final day, you will be transferred to Rovaniemi Airport as we end the memorable 5-day tour!
Day 1 - Pick-up from Rovaniemi Airport, Driving to Arctic Glass Hotel
Pick up at Rovaniemi Airport or Rovaniemi Train Station (We offer a pick-up service at the airport, train station, or Hotel). From the airport, you will be transferred straight to the NUT safari office in the Rovaniemi city centre where you will be provided with special adventure gear and a short description of your tour from our guide. You will then be driven to the Arctic Glass Hotel for your check-in. Spend the day at leisure and acclimatise for the exciting adventures to follow. (3* hotel or other hotels on request)
Day 2 - Santa Claus Village Visit, crossing the Arctic Circle and Getting the Certificate
Today you go to visit Santa Claus Village. Santa Claus Village is Lapland’s best-known attraction and a resort in its own right. Rovaniemi is the Official Hometown of Santa Claus, and the city’s most famous residents can be visited every day of the year in Santa Claus Village right on the Arctic Circle, an attraction that draws more than 500 000 annual visitors from all around the world.
Further, you will go cross the Arctic Circle and get the Certificate. Crossing the magical line of the Arctic Circle has been considered a great achievement already decades ago. Nowadays, it’s not only possible to cross the line but also to receive the original Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate. You will also meet Santa Claus in his office located in Santa Village.
Day 3 - Hunting Northern Lights
The Northern Lights are the surreal natural spectacle and are the main attraction in Lapland. Of course, you would want to view the Northern Lights from the best location. Let us take you to one of our best viewing locations near the lakeside. Your local guide will tell you things about the “fires of the fox” (as the Finns call the Northern Lights) and they know where you’ll get the best chance to see the Northern Lights.

Day 4 - Husky 10km Adventure
Take a ride with a team of sledge dogs through the Finnish forest trails and find out all about the training, breeding and racing of the magnificent huskies! Go on a trip to a local husky farm where, after a short introduction and instruction, the dogs are ready to take you on a 10km ride through the Finnish countryside. Once we get back to the husky farm, the staff will explain all about the life and training of these dogs as you enjoy some hot juice and Finnish gingerbread cookies (local winter snacks) before we drive you back to your hotel.
Day 5 - Transfer to the Airport, Tour Ends
