During the 3 day tour, we present before you the best that Rovaniemi and its surroundings have to offer. During the day you get to spend exclusive time amidst nature and animals of Lapland, while in the evening you get to chase the Auroras in the wilderness. Brace yourself as you get to see the gorgeous city from a wonderful viewpoint on top of the local hill, Ounasvaara, before heading to Ranua Zoo.
At the Zoo, you’ll find local as well as exotic Arctic wildlife, with the highlights being the enormous moose and polar bears. You’ll also see local animals such as the forest reindeer, the Wolverine, the arctic foxes as well as different owl species! We’ll have a buffet lunch in a restaurant at the zoo. Finally, to sum up, we have the Aurora tour at night which will make you feel accomplished about yourself and you will end the tour on a high.
Day 1 - Airport pickup, transfer to NUT office
Our guide will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the NUT safari office in Rovaniemi city where you will get dressed in special adventure gear and receive the latest info about the Northern Lights and the holiday package. The accommodation will be organized in a 3* hotel or any other hotel on request.
Day 2 - Ounasvaara, Ranua Tour, Aurora Tour
This is going to be the super exciting day of the tour when you will start the day with a hike to Ounasvaara, the highest point in Rovaniemi city. The short hike to the top is endowed with magical views and the panoramic views from the top are breathtaking. Next up you will find yourself in the company of the amazing Arctic Wildlife at Ranua Wildlife Park. The fact that the authorities have made it like a forest with so much space and biodiversity inside makes it look different from a typical zoo. At night we go hunting Auroras in the wilderness of Lapland.
Day 3 - Airport Transfer, Tour Ends
