DAY 1:

Arrival to Rovaniemi, group transfer to the hotel.


On this tour, we drive to a place far away from the light pollution of the city and enjoy wonderful views of the starry skies. Sitting by the fire while cooking sausages you can search for the Northern Lights. If you're lucky, you'll see this incredible spectacle in the polar sky.

DAY 2:

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the snow hotel.


Get away from the city and enjoy the magical forests of the Lapland wilderness while driving your own dog team! The sound of the panting huskies and the snow underneath your sled is the perfect soundtrack for this adventure which covers somewhere between 16 - 22km.

Every day a huge number of letters arrive at Santa’s Main Post Office. In 1994 Santa received 200,000 letters and just four years later, 800,000 letters! Santa’s elves sort all the letters and help Santa to read every single one of them. Then at Christmas or on New Year’s Day, under their Christmas tree, excited children all over the world delight in finding the exact toy or game they have for from asked Santa Claus!!!

Santa Claus Village is the most magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike!! There is something for everyone here. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter you can experience the excitement of a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies, ride a sled downhill and taste hot glöggi (mulled wine) in the Ice Bar.

Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share with him your dreams and wishes. There are so many things to do! Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get your certificate to prove it!

Rovaniemi is the regional capital of Lapland, and there's quite a bit to see in the town centre and in the beautiful natural surroundings just outside it. The highlights of the compact centre are easily taken in on a guided walking tour featuring local history as well as significant sites, buildings, and landmarks.

The reindeer will take you for a peaceful trip through the silent beauty of Lapland on your way to search for the Northern Lights. After the trip, hot drinks and snacks are waiting for you at the farm. Around the fire, we can relax and hear the stories about the Lappish way of life and reindeer husbandry.

DAY 3:

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out from the glass igloo.


Korouoma is a 30-kilometer long geological fracture valley in Posio. It is a part of a fracture zone in the bedrock, which is hundreds of millions of years old. At the center of Korouoma the fracture valley forms a gorge with high cliff faces. Small streams which cascade down the cliff faces in the summer, freeze into beautiful frozen waterfalls during winter, making Korouoma the number one ice climbing destination in Finland.

An opportunity to drive a snowmobile through the snowy forest and along the river in the shadows of the evening. During the safari, you can admire the starry night, the moon and if you are lucky you will see the Aurora Borealis. The guide will light up a bonfire and we will enjoy a picnic while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. Everyone can grill traditional Finnish sausages on the fire and we serve Lappish berry juice to keep yourself warm. For taking proper photos in darkness, you can bring along the tripod for your camera

DAY 4:

Breakfast in the hotel


The Lampivaara Amethyst Mine is a fascinating travel destination all year round. The amethysts of Lampivaara fell were born 2 000 million years ago, deep in the bowels of the ancient mountains.

During the guided tour you will learn about the geology that created the amethyst, its properties, the history of the mine, and some of the uses of amethyst. After the tour, each visitor will be able to try their hand at digging for their own personal lucky amethyst!

At the end of the visit, there will be some time to drop by the small Amethyst Shop on-site, where amethyst from the area in the form of jewelry and other decorative items is for sale.

Included: Transfer, guiding service, excursion to mine (walking in the summer, traveling by Pendolino in winter), berry juice upon arrival, presentation of amethyst, and digging you're for own amethyst stone.

DAY 5:

Extraordinary experience! Imagine a white frozen sea that never storms. Sea waters are covered with solid ice, endless dramatic white as far as the eye can catch. Sound of crackling ice, broken ice slices rises from the icebreaker bottom letting and dark water splashing out. At the beginning of winter ice is not more than 30-50 cm thick, but by April it could reach up to 1,5 m.

During 3 h cruise, you will have a tour all way down to the engine rooms and all way up to Captain’s bridge. Onboard you can relax in a cozy saloon enjoying warm drinks. The bar is also available for drinks and snacks. Before returning to the harbor we will make a stop. Icebreaker makes pool free for ice in the sea and every visitor may have a swim in dark icy water in a floating survival suite. Before leaving the ship the captain will present the Cruise and Swim certificate to everyone as a memorable gift.
