On this tour, we drive to a place far away from the light pollution of the city and enjoy wonderful views of the starry skies. Sitting by the fire while cooking sausages you can search for the Northern Lights. If you're lucky, you'll see this incredible spectacle in the polar sky.

10.00 EXCURSION TO SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE
Every day a huge number of letters arrive at Santa’s Main Post Office. In 1994 Santa received 200,000 letters and just four years later, 800,000 letters! Santa’s elves sort all the letters and help Santa to read every single one of them. Then at Christmas or on New Year’s Day, under their Christmas tree, excited children all over the world delight in finding the exact toy or game they have for from asked Santa Claus!!!
Santa Claus Village is the most magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike!! There is something for everyone here. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter you can experience the excitement of a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies, ride a sled downhill and taste hot glöggi (mulled wine) in the Ice Bar.
Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share with him your dreams and wishes. There are so many things to do! Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get your certificate to prove it!

14.00 SHORT EXCURSION IN ROVANIEMI
Rovaniemi is the regional capital of Lapland, and there's quite a bit to see in the town center and in the beautiful natural surroundings just outside it. The highlights of the compact center are easily taken in on a guided walking tour featuring local history as well as significant sites, buildings, and landmarks.

18.30 NORTHERN LIGHTS SAFARI BY REINDEER SLEIGH
The reindeer will take you for a peaceful trip through the silent beauty of Lapland on your way to search for the Northern Lights. After the trip, hot drinks and snacks are waiting for you at the farm. Around the fire, we can relax and hear the stories about the Lappish way of life and reindeer husbandry.

DAY 3: Enjoy the Magical Forests of the Lapland Wilderness

08.00 CALL OF THE WILD HUSKY
Get away from the city and enjoy the magical forests of the Lapland wilderness while driving your own dog team! The sound of the panting huskies and the snow underneath your sled is the perfect soundtrack for this adventure which covers somewhere between 16 - 22km.

Included: Transfers to/from Rovaniemi, Safety- and driving instructions, 1 hour 30 minute - 2-hour drive with a husky sled (2 adults and max 2 children per sled), Hot Juice, Cookies, Arctic outer clothing, shoes, gloves, socks, hats and informative talk about huskies.

18.00 SEARCHING FOR THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BY SNOWMOBILES
An opportunity to drive a snowmobile through a snowy forest and along the river in the shadows of the evening. During the safari, you can admire the starry night, and the moon and if you are lucky you will see the Aurora Borealis.
The guide will light up a bonfire and we will enjoy a picnic while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. Everyone can grill traditional Finnish sausages on the fire and we serve Lappish berry juice to keep yourself warm. For taking proper photos in darkness, you can bring along the tripod for your camera.

10.00-15.00 EXCURSION TO RANUA ZOO
The zoo is approximately 1 hour south of Rovaniemi by car. Upon arrival, you will take a stroll through the zoo, where you can see the interesting animals and birds that live at the "top of the world!!". You will be able to dine in the cozy restaurant and visit all kinds of souvenir shops including the Fazer candy/chocolate shop and the wine shop, where they sell unique wines made from wild berries found locally, such as cloudberries, lingonberries, and bilberries.
Included: Transfer, guiding service, entrance fee to zoo, lunch, and/or free time.
Transfer to Kemi from Ranua zoo.

Transfer from the hotel to Ajos harbor to meet the mighty vessel Sampo.
13:00 ICEBREAKER CRUISE
Blue Moment Cruise includes a guided tour, a 3-course meal, and the exciting experience of swimming amongst the ice, dressed in survival suits.
The mighty icebreaker Sampo operates on the northern Gulf of Bothnia from Kemi in Finnish Lapland. After serving for 30 years in the extreme Arctic waters, the vessel has been given a new task in recent years – providing an unforgettable experience for eager winter adventurers!
Your trip departs from the deep port of Ajos, approximately 11km south of Kemi. Once onboard, you will enjoy a presentation about the ship and a guided tour will take you to the massive engine room and the bridge. A delicious lunch is served on board in the Sampo Arctic Restaurant before the ship makes a one-hour stop to enable you to take a swim in the sea, comfortably dressed in a warm survival suit, of course!!! At the end of this unique cruise experience, the ship’s Captain presents each client with a certificate.
